“Like art? Bikes? Nice views? Join us this Sunday for a bike tour of the Beacon Hill Neighborhood Greenway and we’ll deliver all three! This summer, the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture’s Art Interruptions project features work by 7 artists along the Greenway and the downtown Waterfront. Artists Breanne Gearheart and Joanna Lepore will guide you through their experience of the Greenway via Portals, an installation of bike rim sculptures in trees at important points along the trail. We’ll also see artworks by Elizabeth Gahan, Brian Gerich and Ian Horton, Julia Haack, Chris Papa, and Annie Penta as we make our way to Georgetown.
Bring a bicycle, helmet, and water. We’ll meet at the I-90 bike trail to start the tour and finish with an optional happy hour in Georgetown. Hope to see you there!”
